The Shaw and Partners Foundation, established in 2015, was created to strengthen our firm’s commitment to community service and social responsibility. The Foundation provides a dedicated platform for supporting local communities and driving positive social impact across Australia.
Our goal is to empower communities through financial assistance, volunteering and professional skills sharing. The Shaw and Partners Foundation actively supports a wide range of initiatives by offering funding, pro bono consulting services for charities, and championing activity‑based fundraising. We also provide financial backing to advisers and staff as they participate in their own fundraising efforts, helping them make an even bigger difference.
With a strong focus on mental health, education, and social inclusion, the Shaw and Partners Foundation is committed to building stronger, more connected and more resilient communities. Through hands‑on involvement, strategic philanthropy and long‑term partnerships, we proudly support programs that create meaningful and lasting change.
OUR FUNDING APPROACH

Our very own Stephen ‘Thommo’ Thomas celebrated 100 donations at the Blood and Plasma bank.
Last May 2024, Stephen aka ‘Thommo’ racked up his 100th blood and plasma donation - which over the years has been a tally of 60 plasma donations and 40 blood donations.
Just 1 bag of plasma can help up to 18 different patients; From those suffering from cancer to patients receiving skin grafts. With a reliable statistic that has 3 lives saved by just 1 blood donation, you can see how incredible of a feat this is.
We celebrated this remarkable achievement with a Morning Tea in the office where Thommo announced the donation of $2,500 to the Women’s and Girl’s Emergency Centre which is a homelessness service for women and families escaping domestic violence.
